I play a lot of games and have my opinion on each one; and so does any other gamer out there. But as I read through posts and comments on various social media and forums, I realised how negative most people are. Why post something like 'Stop creating garbage and make a good game'? Why the negative attitude? Could you make any better? I guess that's why you're a creative or design manager at a huge successful game development company.
Before posting these attacking messages, one should think about what went into creating a product. Months or even years poured into a single project. Tens if not hundreds of designers, writers and developers. I do believe criticism should always be present as this leads to better creative products, better games for everyone to play; but I think people should focus more on the positives. Something like: 'I liked the controls on this game, but the story was lacking.' This way, the developers would know what you didn't like in the game so they can fix it and focus on what you liked to create something on the same lines.
'This is garbage' has no value to developers and will never lead to anything better.
