Although I am not a patriot by any stretch of imagination, however, it would be a shame not to share some of the cultural wealth found in Malta. As part of Labour Day celebrations, some heritage sites were open for free, and me and my girlfriend decided to visit some. First up, Ghar Dalam, a prehistoric cave filled with stalagmites, stalactites, and bones... LOTS of bones...
First, we went through the small museum built to house these beautiful finds.
Then we went for a stroll through the cave itself, a beauty even if you don't consider the historical value it possesses.
